15 things you can do to be happy and healthy over the Christmas period...
Take regular breaks if you’re decorating, wrapping presents or cooking
If you're finding all the social time a little overwhelming, take yourself off for a little quiet time
Listen to your body, if you’re tired- sleep
Bend your knees and stick your bum out when lifting heavy stuff
Sleep on your side with a pillow between your knees and your pillow tucked in close to your shoulder supporting your whole neck and not just your head
Get out for a regular walk
Wrap up warm
Look after number 1 - (dat’s u)
Hydrate hydrate hydrate!! We love Nuun tablets for when you've been hitting the gym or the booze a little too hard and need to rebalance electrolytes!
Use a cushion in the small of your back when chilling on the sofa
Use a small cushion or rolled-up towel in the small of your back if you're taking a long train, plane or car journey.
Take it easy on the alcohol and sugar (...at least we tried)
Spend a little time each day doing some mobility work - cat-cows, laying on your back rolling your knees from side to side, knees to chest, cobra poses etc. etc.
